Trimble SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program used for drawing layout functionalities. It was acquired by Trimble from Google in June 2012. SketchUp allows its commercial clients to create 3D models of buildings, furniture, and landscapes. It also allows to customize the interfaces and thereby widens the scope of possibilities for 3D designs and shares 3D models as walkthrough animations and scenes with realistic lighting and shades. With SketchUp, importing and exporting files, animations from other programs for modeling or image editing is very easy.
