NitroCast can manage and cache high-bandwidth content from online social media sites, such as Facebook and YouTube. NitroCast offers the policy engine which enables access control. NitroCast can also identify users, group memberships, context, and policies depending on the source or destination IP address, the day of the week, the time of the day, host name, access protocol, Uniform Resource Locator (URI) path, and file type extension.
