My team had high expectations of BuildingLink in introducing new innovative features, however, we came out disappointed entirely. Use of next generation technology: 1/5 The use of next generation technology is completely missing from the offerings of BuildingLink. There are no voice recognition features or anything of the sort. All of the features are quite outdated and there is a lack of progress and innovation that could have been put in by the company. Cost of ownership: 2/5 The cost of ownership is quite high when you get into the details. Despite advertising discounts, the actual cost of ownership, when you get into the details, is quite high. 'After evaluating numerous property management software offerings, my decision has fallen on BuildingLink.com's offerings. Below I have written an overview of my overall experience with the software. Overall Innovation: 2/5 The features provided by BuildingLink are very much outdated compared to the other providers. To be honest, they are just re-packaging some of the similar features that the other software offers. I did not find any unique or out-of-the-box features offered by BuildingLink. As a Manager, I was expecting more quality offerings with next-generation technology, but unfortunately that was not the case. Use of next generation technology: 1/5 BuildingLink lacks completely in modernizing its features. All of its features are based on traditional framework and technology that have already been in use by numerous companies. I was expecting new technologies such as voice-recognition to be integrated into its system, but those features are lacking unfortunately. Cost of ownership: 2/5 The cost of BuildingLink's software is not as great as you would think. They mainly advertise tremendous discounts, however, when you get the exact features quantified in the contract, the overall cost is quite hefty. To summarize in comparison with other providers, BuildingLink's cost of ownership is quite costly.'

After using the program for some time, I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and cost effectiveness of the software. We had the ability to review and approve applications from members; organize and track financials with ease; plan and manage maintenance requests, and much more. Not only were these features helpful, but they were very user friendly. Plus, the customer support team was always available and willing to answer any questions I had. The software also offered us an effective solution for tracking and predicting future changes of our complex. BuildingLink equipped us with tools to help us analyze future trends in our occupancy and other data to help inform our decision making. This was extremely helpful and gave us a great deal of insight into what the future holds for our complex. In summary, I give BuildingLink's Property Management Software a three-and-half-star rating. '#2 We have been using BuildingLink.com's Property Management Software for about a year now and I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the overall experience. While the system does offer decent features for the money and it is indeed quite cost-efficient, there are some innovation and technological issues that hinder it's true potential. The software does have a decent self-service Portal which allows owners and investors to manage their workflows quickly and easily. But unfortunately, the mobile app does not offer the same level of convenience and can be quite slow at times. The lack of robust features on the mobile app make it a bit of a letdown. All in all, the cost of ownership and the overall features offered by BuildingLink.com's Property Management Software are not bad. But, I feel there are still some areas for improvement when it comes to innovation and the use of next-generation technology. I'd give it a 6/10 rating.'

'Overall Innovation: 2/5 The features offered by BuildingLink are quite typical in compared to its competitors. I found it difficult to find out any kind of exclusive features that were not offered by the other providers. My team was expecting more revolutionary features that other providers are offering. Therefore, BuildingLink failed at delivering in that aspect. Use of next generation technology: 1/5 Using advanced technology that is enhancing the user experience is something I was looking for, however, BuildingLink completely lacked in that regard. Some features such as Voice recognition or Augmented Reality are completely non-existent when it comes to BuildingLink's offerings. Cost of ownership: 2/5 Though BuildingLink does advertise great discounts, when it comes to the exact amount, its cost is much higher. When quantifying the features, the cost of ownership increases and that is the case with BuildingLink as well. Therefore, I would not highly recommend BuildingLink for its cost of ownership in particular.'
