'About two years ago, we decided to try out SaltStack’s patch management software, and it’s been a great decision. Deployment was easy and their agents allow us to keep track of our activites without having to manually intervene. We’re also practical with their cost of ownership, which I didn’t expect – especially considering the great deal of value that we receive in return.
I also appreciate the innovation that goes into their product. The automation, analytics and visualization capabilities they’ve been able to provide using next generation technology are impressive. SaltStack has been able to build a solution that requires minimal effort with great returns.
All-in-all, the SaltStack offering has had a great impact on our patch management process. I’d give it a 7/10 for Cost of ownership and a 9.5/10 for Overall Innovation and use of next generation technology. The comprehensive suite of product features make managing patch updates a breeze. We can easily scale from complex deployments to small tasks, and the API integration helps us to conduct daily tests to ensure our services and kernels are up-to-date.
Unfortunately, the product is slightly lagging in terms of UI design and the reporting and analysis modules are weak. Furthermore, it is quite resource intensive, making it a bit slow at times. Rating: 8/10.'

Though I have been generally happy with the software, I have occasionally had difficulties with updates and downloads not working properly. This has always been quickly rectified when I have contacted support, however, so I would still rate the patch management software at four stars out of five.'

As the Director of a multinational company, I am writing this review for SaltStack’s Patch Management Software solutions. We use their product for patch management for our machines and systems. The experience has been okay so far, with mixed feelings.
We find the vision of SaltStack’s Patch Management Software quite promising. They want to make the patch management process more efficient, but our experience with the product has not been flawless. At times, we have faced difficulties while trying to generate a consistent workflow due to lack of automation.
In spite of the issues, overall, we find the product features quite useful. We have greatly benefited from the scalability and flexibility offered by their solution, as our business grows. The software also provides us with rich insights into our patch management process, thereby helping take informed decisions quicker.
Interoperability and integration processes remain quite satisfactory. We are pleased with Mesh360 orchestrator for simplifying the automation process. Despite this, though, at times, we have faced difficulties while trying to integrate with existing infrastructure.
In conclusion, we feel SaltStack’s Patch Management Software is good enough to be recommended, but one must keep in mind a few bottlenecks. We rate their product 4/5 stars.'

I recently started using SaltStack's Patch Management Software with my engineering team and I'm overall very pleased with it. The product vision is excellent and makes it easy to effectively manage system patches, while its out-of-the box automation capabilities make it incredibly efficient to use. I also appreciate that the user interface is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to track our patching operations.
Moreover, I'm also very impressed with the product's features. We are able to quickly and easily define patching criteria and the product's reporting capabilities provide us with a clear overview of all operations. This helps us to stay on top of our patching processes.
On the downside, however, I have experienced some performance issues with the software. On occasions, the product is slow to execute commands or generate reports and this can lead to delays in our patching operations.
All things considered, I'm quite satisfied with SaltStack's Patch Management Software. The product vision is excellent and the features are easy to use, but I'm disappointed with the performance issues that I have experienced.'

'I have been working with SaltStack Patch Management Software ever since it came out, and I must say that it definitely has made my job easier. It takes a few moments to set up and is incredibly intuitive to use. The product can be used to define patching policies and customize them according to the requirements of my organization. It also allows me to take control of remote servers, monitor activity, and automatically push out patches to multiple systems and networks simultaneously.
I have found the product to be very innovative in terms of its use of next-generation technologies and automation. The pricing and subscription plans for the product are also quite reasonable and offer great value for money. The team at SaltStack is also very friendly and responsive when I have a query or issue.
I am really impressed with SaltStack Patch Management Software and would rate it 5/5 for value for money, 5/5 for innovation, and 5/5 for use of next-generation technology.

The Cost of ownership with SaltStack is far lower than that of many of its competitors, often to the appreciated disbelief of our budget committee. I would also like to single out the innovation behind the product. SaltStack's Patch Management Software Offerings were good enough to allow us to patch our systems successfully. I was pleased with the initial setup process and the simplicity of the software platform, though I felt the price was quite steep.
The customer service side of things was mediocre at best. We ran into plenty of teething issues when learning the software and expected plenty of help with our queries. Unfortunately, communication was often unreliable and slow - meaning that our queries weren't addressed in a timely manner. For this reason, I give the customer service a 3/5 rating.
Innovation was not one of the main selling points of this platform. The technology employed existed in many other patch management solutions, offering no real competitive advantage. I'd give the overall innovation a rating of 2/5.
In the end, SaltStack's Patch Management Software was good enough to allow us to patch our systems, though I would have liked to have seen better customer support and more innovation in the platform. Rating: 2.75/5'

I had a chance to take a look at SaltStack's Patch Management Software Offerings when searching for a suitable platform to address our cyber security patching needs. I was pleased at how easy it was to learn and begin using the platform right away, though I have to admit that the price was quite expensive and pushed the limits of what I had allocated.
The customer service side of things was a bit of a let down. This is especially because we ran into teething issues while learning the software and expected help that never arrived. Communication was sometimes slow and inefficient, leaving us feeling frustrated. My overall rating in terms of customer service would be 2.5/5
Innovation wasn't really a selling point for this platform. It employed the same technology that many other patch management solutions use, and gave us no real impetus to be excited about the prospect of using it. For this reason, I give the innovation of this platform a 2.75/ 5.
Ultimately, SaltStack's Patch Management Software gave us the basic patching capabilities that we needed, and we were able to successfully patch our systems with it. I just wish we had received better customer support and had been more impressed with the innovation. Rating: 3.75/5'

I've been using SaltStack's Patch Management Software for several years at my engineering team and overall I'm very satisfied with its features and performance. The product vision is clear, enabling the product to effectively meet our patching needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. I appreciate that the software provides easy to use automation capabilities out-of-the box, and a user-friendly UI that makes it incredibly easy to track our patching operations.
Moreover, the software's product features are intuitive yet effective for our needs. For instance, I particularly appreciate that the patching process can be automated based on pre-defined criteria, and that detailed reports can be generated for all operations so that I can quickly observe the bigger picture of our patching process.
I have, however, experienced some issues with the software's performance. For instance, the product can sometimes be slow to execute our commands and this can lead to delays in our patch management operations. I've also found the product to be quite demanding in terms of hardware and software resources, which can limit our ability to patch as many systems as we'd like.

That said, I have some reservations when it comes to customer service. Communication was slow and errors were not addressed quickly. I would give the customer service a rating of 2.5/ 5 due to this.
In terms of innovation, I was similarly unconvinced. The technology used for the software was adequate, but it paled in comparison to some of the other solutions out there. I'm afraid I can only give this a rating of 2/ 5.

I recently had the opportunity to evaluate SaltStack's Patch Management Software and I have to say that I am quite pleased with the end product. The process of managing and controlling different software's updates is quite automated with patch management, allowing for quick steps to be taken for patching any system. Even better, their automation and changing granular access controls allow for large scale patch management, further boosting efficiency. On that note, the software very efficiently supports many mainstream operating systems. As an R&D Head, I was also impressed by the innovation used to develop the software - the features being implemented are designed with the needs of an ever-evolving industry in mind. All in all, I rate SaltStack's Patch Management Software 4.5/5.'

SaltStack's patch management software has been an invaluable asset for our engineering team. Because of its ease of use, we've been able to quickly patch any vulnerabilities across our various environments. We've also been able to keep our compliance and security policies up-to-date with the help of the SaltStack product.
SaltStack's product has also been a great asset in terms of automation. We've been able to automate the patching process to a large extent, saving us a good amount of time. This has allowed us to focus more on the actual code and less on patch management.
I'd personally rate the ease of use of SaltStack products an 8/10.'

'SaltStack's patch management software has been a game changer when it comes to managing our IT infrastructure. It has a revolutionary product vision that is suited to our changing IT needs and their customer service is excellent in addressing any configuration requests we've needed.
The feature set of this product is comprehensive and allows us to manage all patch related tasks without opening any third party software. Its API integration helps us to run daily tests on our services and kernels to ensure nothing is out of date. With its deployment capability, we can save time by automatically rolling out patch updates to a selected portions of our network.
However, the UI of the software is not very pleasing to the eye and can be confusing to navigate. Additionally, the reporting and analysis function is severely lacking; it is largely ineffective. Rating: 7.5/10.'

SaltStack's patch management solution is quite impressive. It's an easy-to-use product that allows us to quickly identify and patch any vulnerabilities. We've been able to then integrate the patched applications into our production environment with ease and confidence.
SaltStack's next-generation technologies also help us to automate and streamline the patching process. This automation has helped free up a lot of time that can be spent on our actual engineering work.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the ease of use and innovation of SaltStack's patch management software, and I'd rate it a 9/10.'
