The company also offers Next Generation Threat Prevention software bundles which are of two types, , namely,, Next Generation Threat Extraction (NGTX) and Next Generation Threat Prevention (NGTP) to provide protection against threats and offer features, such as SandBlast Threat Extraction, SandBlast Threat Emulation, URL Filtering, App Control, IPS, and Identity Awareness. In May 2016, Check Point introduced new appliances: Check Point 770 and 790, along with the 730 and 750 for small businesses which will offer features such as URL filtering, email security VPN, firewall and application control. In February 2016, Check Point partnered with IBM Security to enhance their threat prevention capabilities by providing product integrations. Check Point 700 security appliances protect enterprise grade security in a series for SMEs from the evolving cyber and zero-day threats. The 730/750 and the 770/790 are offered under Check Point 700 Appliances. This appliance provides protection against spam, and malware attacks. Check Point 700 appliances are integrated devices offering firewall solutions, high in performance which provide features such as VPN, antivirus, application visibility and control, URL filtering, email security and SandBlast Zero-Day Protection (sandboxing). Firewall throughput and threat prevention throughput by Check Point 700 security appliances are 1.8 Gbps and 330 Mbps, respectively.
