MobileIron AppConnect creates a secure app container through a Software Development Kit (SDK) and wrapper for iOS and Android by ensuring that all the app data stored on the device is encrypted. MobileIron, thus, secures and manages the mobile apps, documents, and devices for companies by providing on-premises and cloud solutions. Though MobileIron provides effective encryption capabilities to its customers as a part of its EMM platform, it lags in offering standalone mobile encryption solutions. The company must take initiatives in this direction and include more encryption features to its existing set of offerings. However, in spite of having limited capabilities in terms of breadth of offerings, features, and functionalities, the company scores well in its delivery of products through various modes and provides an effective support mechanism to its existing customers.
