The team quickly billed us for the amount due, so it was easy to get the software running. And when it comes to cost of ownership, they have a number of reasonable plans which allows us to customize our payment plan to fit our needs.
On the technical side of things, I was impressed with their support for futuristic use cases. I am the head of R&D of a mining operations organization, and I have recently heard about a new mining software called “Dips.†After researching it, I decided to give it a try. I must say that overall I was quite impressed by the features and capabilities of the software. The software is easy to learn and use, and the customer service team is friendly and knowledgeable. The softwares interoperability is also top-notch, making it incredibly smooth to integrate with our existing workflow and systems. Furthermore, the mining simulation capabilities offered with the software allow us to observe mining operations and make more informed decisions. Unfortunately, I must also say that the software is not quite on par with some of the more established solutions. The reporting and analytics functions of the software are not as robust as other solutions, although this is to be expected given its relative newness. Overall, I would give Dips a 7/10 rating for its use as mining software. There is a well-documented user guide which covers all the basics and even more advanced topics, so if anything is not quite clear, help is never too far away. The cost of ownership is reasonable too. Compared to similar providers, Dips Mining provides a better price/performance ratio. The only real issue I have had is with the decreased performance after software updates. While the new features are nice, the occassional hiccups are a bit frustrating since I cannot afford for our operations to be taken offline for even brief moments. Overall I would give Dips Mining a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

5 My experience with Dipss customer service was average at best. Whenever I sent in a query, I never got a prompt response. Instead, I was typically left waiting for extended periods of time before getting a response back. To make matters worse, the responses I got didnt usually address my specific questions. Cost wise, my experience was slightly better. The software wasnt cheap, but it managed to deliver on the initial expectations I had set. My problem solving still required a large investment, but at the end of the day, I was able to get the outcomes I wanted. As such, I would rate the software 3.5 out of 5.

The ease of use was satisfactory and since the product vision was very clearly explained I was able to carry out operations efficiently. The product features were good, but there was room for improvement as the data representation was slightly confusing and this did cause me some issues. However, I was able to overcome this with some experimentation. The customer service provided was satisfactory, however it can be improved for better customer experience. For the price I paid, I believe that Dips Software Mining Solutions is worth the investment but I cant help but feel that theres still room for improvement.

After the initial contact, however, I barely noticed their presence. I would say that their approach to customer service is rather lax and often left me feeling dissatisfied. My only complaint with DIPS is the slowdown of the software during animations. I understand that these animations cannot be helped, but if they could be deactivated before they are implemented, this could have been avoided.
