ETISALAT Presence in Middle East Cloud Infrastructure Services
Etisalat has offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, and Ras al-Khaimah in UAE. These offices also act as sales offices and the company makes use of channel partners to increase its service adoption in other Middle Eastern regions as well. The company is making use of organic strategies to increase its customer base. For instance, in October 2015, Etisalat launched 9 data centers across UAE to ensure that its present customers have enough cloud infrastructure resources to operate their daily activities even when disaster strikes. Etisalat already serves 11.6 million residential customers and more than 300,000 large enterprises, SMEs, and government customers. Etisalat has also used inorganic strategies to improve its product offerings related to the cloud infrastructure services market. The partnership with Fortinet in June 2015 has helped the company make use of the Fortinet technology to create robust solutions to protect its cloud infrastructure from cyber threats. Currently, the company has channel partners spread across many Middle Eastern regions. Etisalat’s business partners include Enjazat Services, Fixit Express, and Ontime Services RTA.
