Features
  • OptiWarn™ provides mapped view of entire siren system which gives detailed visibility on alarm conditions and site navigation. Apart from this customized emails are sent to the operator regarding activations and alarms.
  • Sirens can be activated instantly and operator is able to customize them as per targeted location. Pre-recorded digital voice message can be sent to any combination sirens in the system.
  • OptiWarn™ provides access to the siren site where it is possible to check status of the sirens that which siren is active and which is not. This real time monitoring helps in keeping track of the sirens so that these sirens are used in the active condition when in need.
  • It provides access to external alerting systems for visibility to weather alerts, facility SCADA system, etc.
  • It enables to view and adjust Siren Command Logger. With appropriate access, operators can change the names of the command sequences.
  • It can easily reconfigure zones by moving sites in and out through the manager zoom screen.
  • It can create roles to differentiate operators from system managers who can acknowledge all current alarms, add, remove, modify users, access additional administrator functions and provide site diagnostics.

“Computer Aided Dispatching”

I like the service Motorola put in to making the sale and altering the program to fit the needs of our department. Although they were compensated for their time and alterations, most times companies would not be open to rewriting code to suit an individual customer on the level and scope Motorola was.

“Maintenance downtime is too long”

It is very user friendly. I like the hot-keys to navigate quickly. The maintenance downtime is by far the worst part. Too long.
