Google specializes in web-related services, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, and software related services. Since its inception, the company has diversified its portfolio into various domains using both organic as well as inorganic strategies. In May 2016, the company launched a TPU, which is an application specific integrated circuit. TPU is personalized to machine learning, which increases the speed of operations. Along with these strategies, Google has also acquired a lot of companies to expand its machine learning and deep learning domains. In September 2016, Google acquired Apigee Corp., which provides API management and predictive analytics software. It also acquired Api.ai, a developer of human–computer interaction technologies based on natural language conversations.
