When I finally did receive the software, I was frustrated to find out that the template I wanted wasnt even included with the program. The only downside I could find with the product vision and features is that there are a limited amount of templates and pre-made designs. This means users must start from scratch, which can be time consuming. I am also a bit concerned that the software does not offer any support for 3D modelling and geometry, as this is something that is becoming increasingly important in modern fashion design. Overall, CREA Solutions has put together a great piece of software for fashion designers. However, with the industry now heavily relying on 3D modelling and geometry for creating their most modern garments, the softwares capabilities are lacking. For example, when making adjustments to a garments construction, only simple geometries can be accommodated (such as straight lines and curves). Without greater capabilities for more complex forms, it makes the software a less attractive option for certain types of clothing. Overall, CREA Solutions have created a decent piece of software with a good range of features and capabilities. However, compared to the level of sophistication of modern 3D fashion design programs, they are missing some important features.
