Animetrics FaceR API can identify one or even more identified face images. Users may insert into a gallery one or more faces from the same file. It helps one or more unfamiliar faces in an image to be identified. Users are able to identify one image at a moment against historically enrolled images from the same picture.

FaceR API provides a set of features and functionality which are important for security. Some of the features are as follows:

Detect - To detect human faces in photographs, the Animetrics Facial Recognition API may be used. In the photograph, information on facial characteristics or landmarks is provided as pointers. The gender and direction or location of faces along three axes can also be identified and returned by Animetrics Facial Recognition. Gender identification requires modern attribute recognition. To further optimise the identification algorithm, modified landmarks can be fed back into more comprehensive queries. For eg, an eye in the image can be concealed or obscured; it can help increase the accuracy of specific landmarks and poses by demanding only eye landmarks, manually correcting their positions, and feeding this data into a more comprehensive submission.

Recognize - To recognise facial features in photographs, the Animetrics Facial Recognition API can also be used. In a personal collection, identified faces are inscribed, creating a unique facial recognition identification for each. To find the nearest match, an unfamiliar face can be matched against these recognised subjects. It is also possible to access and update galleries via the API. By issuing a Locate command with a given gallery ID, a connection to an image containing certain unknown face, and the face borders or eye dimensions of the face in the image, matching the facial features within a gallery is accomplished. A list of possible matched candidates for known subjects and match similarity scores are returned.

Pose - The Animetrics facial recognition API is able to identify and identify faces in off-centred configurations in a very special way. This suggests that our variety of patterns and character recognition will also be able to discover and recognise faces if an image is taken of those who are not facing the camera.

Gallery Operations - Gallery control is also allowed by the API. List Galleries, Display Gallery, Add to Gallery, and Delete from Gallery are the processes. A list of all galleries connected with an API key is returned by List Galleries. The View Gallery returns a list of all subjects that belong to the Gallery. A topic can be added to an existing or new gallery by Add to Gallery. Delete from Gallery will exclude an object from a gallery and, if no subjects remain, will erase this gallery.

Monitor Activities - In addition to registering a known subject, the identity of that subject may be changed in one of two respects. Enrol operations will return a transaction I d for each different face provided for the subject to be enrolled. This transaction I d may be used to change a face-related subject I d or to dissociate the face from a subject. Updating a subject ID for a face would automatically allocate a different subject identifier to the biometric identifying this face. Similarly, removing operations would delete from a single topic the affiliation of this biometric template, thereby removing it from the Facial Recognition Framework.
