Ab Initio ETL Software is a highly scalable ELT tool that provides solutions for an entire large scale data processing. Applications that are built using this software supports data warehousing, batch processing, and decision support across MMP’s, SMP’s, clusters, and mainframe Sysplex. It has specialized itself in high-volume data processing applications and enterprise application integration. This Software is a user-friendly and intuitive application and allows people with limited programming experience to create queries/configurations.
Ab Initio Pricing
The software pricing gets its license issues with a cost ranging from $500,000 to $5M depending upon the user size. The user size varies in three major categories for the pricing. Small has less than 50 employees, Medium has 50 to 100 employees, and Enterprise has more than 1001 employees. The software pricing license is entirely proprietary and nobody can access it without a valid license.

Ab Initio ETL Software offers a free trial for its customers so that they could get well acquainted with the illustrations and operations of the product. An interested individual has to enquire further by putting up an email or will have to call the support staff.
Features
Data ManagementIncludes very large data storage such as hundreds of terabytes to petabytes. Focuses on data discovery, analysis, quality, and masking.
Message system
It contains a very robust messaging system. Includes all standard products, and the ability to handle even proprietary information buses.
Operational Management
Includes features like monitoring and scheduling. Concerned with planning, organizing, and supervising in the contexts of production of services.
Flexibility is data formats
Supports the service-oriented architecture i.e. SOA. Supports other data formats as well like XML.
Data Operations
Functions over data integration, data validation, and profiling. Pipelines data from one component to the next downstream component addition to which parallel processing and heterogeneous processing are also supported.

This tool interprets a simple idea that everything should be graphical. Applications, rules, orchestration, data management, metadata, etc. are all supposed to be graphical.
