M-files is a prominent player in the ECM market. The company is deploying inorganic strategies, such as
partnerships and acquisitions; as well as organic growth strategies, including new product launches and
product developments to strengthen its position in the ECM market. In February 2017, the company
acquired StreamDesign, a consulting and information management service provider. This acquisition has
helped M-Files to expand its business footprint in France, and also its service portfolio. In May 2016, MFiles
formed a partnership with OpusCapita, a Finland-based company, which automates and digitalizes
the cash management, invoice handling, purchasing, and payment procedures. OpusCapita deployed the
M-Files document-management solution to strengthen its document-automation process offering. This will
help OpusCapita’s customers to automate the work process, resulting in improved collaboration, better
decision-making, quick results, and high levels of compliance and security.
In line with the company’s organic growth strategies, M-files launched M-Files contract management
solution in January 2017. This solution was aimed to offer seamless management of business contracts.
This has helped organizations in streamlining and automating business processes, resulting in more
productivity. Furthermore, in October 2016, the company announced its new release of M-Files 2015.3.
This release is an updated version with advance feature of searching along with the capabilities of
