Given the reputation of the company and the reviews that I read, I thought that I could trust the quality of the product and went ahead to test out the tool. One of the first things that I noticed was that their product vision seems flawed. It was clear to me that the vision was not adapted to the changing needs of eLearning authors and provided no information on any long-term roadmap to improve the product. While it does offer basic authoring capabilities, it does not have any extraordinary or unique features that could help me differentiate or stand out from the crowd. The cost of ownership was also not something that I was thrilled about. Despite the cost being at the lower end of the market, the lack of features provided made it hard for me to justify the cost. I think the company could have offered better services for the money paid. Overall, I was disappointed by the experience of using MAGIC SOFTWARE ENTERPRISESs eLearning Authoring Tool. The product vision is unfocused and the features provided are inadequate. Moreover, the cost of ownership is too high in comparison with what is being offered. I would rate this tool 2/5 stars.

The product vision seemed to be out of touch with the market trends which made me question its future potential. The tools feature set was also not as comprehensive as I had expected. Although there are basic authoring capabilities, other eLearning authoring tools tend to have more. Their lack of unique or advanced functions made it hard to differentiate from the competition. The cost of ownership was quite hefty for what the tool offered. For the amount of money I payed for it, I felt that the features and the services should have been up to par with the other eLearning authoring tools. Unfortunately, this was not the case. All in all, I rate this tool 2/5 stars. The product vision was lacking and feature set was inadequate. Additionally, the cost of ownership was too high and not worth the money.
