Apart from following the organic approach, the company has enhanced its product portfolio and increased its clientele base through the inorganic strategies, including partnerships, agreements, and geographic expansions. Recently, in March 2017, Informatica expanded its operations in Toronto, Canada. This development has strengthened the company’s presence in the Canadian region. By extending its partner network, the company has successfully increased its product availability and global sales through regional distributors and system integrators. In January 2017, Informatica entered into a distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics, Inc. The latter is the first distributor for the company in North America. Arrow’s electronics computing solutions business distributes Informatica’s products and solutions, including Data Integration, cloud, MDM, big data, and security, using its vast reseller network in the region.
