Parablu provides cloud data protection and management solutions that are targeted to enterprise and mid-market customers. Their solutions focus on data protection, but due to their high focus on security, they are able to stand out from standard cloud based data management offerings. The underpinning of all Parablu's offerings is an obfuscation engine called BluKrypt which can use any storage target to create a “secure storage container” in which data is stored in an obfuscated form, all accesses to which are fully audit logged. Parablu's product portfolio today includes BluVault, a powerful and secure data backup solution for endpoints and servers; BluSync, a secure, enterprise file sharing and collaboration application; and BluDrive, a secure file transfer solution. All of these utilize the underlying BluKrypt technology.
