The company followed the strategy of acquisitions to expand its presence in mobile video surveillance market. For example, Infinova acquired March Networks (Ontario) for video surveillance, including IP video surveillance cameras, video management software (VMS), and encoders. With the addition of March Networks, Infinova becomes one of the largest companies in the mobile video surveillance market.The company is expanding its presence across the world. For instance, recently in 2016, the company completed its Kolhapur Safe City project. The main aim of the project is to monitor law and order situations, public gatherings, processions, VIP movements, and assist in traffic control and crime prevention. The city is a well-known tourist destination in Maharashtra, India, and it demanded an uplift of the safety infrastructure for its residents, immigrants, and pilgrims. Therefore, 65 locations were to be covered under the first phase of the CCTV installation with high-end surveillance cameras. Total 165 cameras had been implemented by company’s system integrator partner, Samarth Security Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd. (India) where 116 are HD fixed cameras, 17 HD PTZ cameras, and the remaining 32 are panoramic cameras. These cameras are connected to the C-Cube (Command, Control, and Communication Center) and can be viewed on a large LED monitors. In Phase 2, 90 more cameras are expected to be installed.
