Features

Cellular - The cellular medical alert system is intended for at-home use in areas with good cellular coverage. Like a landline-based system, the cellular system includes a base unit equipped with a microphone, speaker, and a help button that’s paired with either a wrist-worn help button or a neck-worn pendant. The base unit operates up to 1,000 feet from the wearable help buttons and equipped with a SIM card within the base station.

GPS tracking – The mobile GPS by QMedic Medical Alert System is an all-in-one help button that comprises GPS location tracking along with a speaker and microphone to allow two-way conversations through the pendant. The device is connected through a built-in cellular SIM card, and it’s water-resistant for wear in the rain.

Proactive Technology – The specific proactive monitoring feature offered by QMedic can track activity and sleep automatically and determines whenever there’s a deviation. This data, along with notifications of anomaly behavior, such as having an extra-long nap or not attending a weekly water aerobics course, is sent to caregivers. It also mentions using it when you consult with medical personnel. With QMedic’s monitoring technology, one can receive an alert if your loved ones had not left bed for the day.

Moreover, the pendants/wristbands can determine whether the user is wearing them. It enables the user and their family members to customize notifications to be sent to anyone listed as their caregiver, so they could remind the user to put the wearable emergency pendant back on.
