The cost of ownership is too expensive and they dont offer any suitable discounts. Im particularly impressed with the customer service they provide. They helped me with the installation and all the other setup stages without any hassles. After that, I was able to store my patient data without any issues. Their software is designed to integrate with other payment processors which is really helpful for me. However, the software is a bit expensive compared to other options available in the market. The value it provides, however, is worth the investment. On the downside, it can be quite expensive compared to its peers, but also offers great value for money. Pros: One of the most appealing features of Athenahealth is its ability to integrate with other third-party applications, allowing us to extend its capabilities beyond what we originally expected. Moreover, the platforms apps provide a great experience, even with a weak internet connection. Cons: Its not perfect, though. The online check-in and payment integration are very helpful and ran smoothly for most of my patients. In addition, the integration with different healthcare entities was quick and seamless, allowing for quick data transfers between entities. However, the product requires some more refinement when it comes to the user experience. I think the company could benefit from making the design more user-friendly, as this would be a great way to help the recent influx of practitioners seamlessly adopt the technology. I received prompt feedback when alerting athenahealth of any issues and the technical support staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me troubleshoot the problem with patience and kindness. Through the use of integration and synchronization, I was able to build an efficient workflow. Furthermore, the features supporting health analytics and telehealth capabilities provided cross-platform insights and helped generate data-driven decisions. I had to admit that I was initially skeptical of the futuristic capabilities that athenahealth promotes; however, I found the updated suite of AI tools to be quite impressive and were integral in fostering better communication and collaboration between patients and providers. Ultimately, the resolution and visualization of data was far better than I had expected, and Ill award it a record 4.5 stars. This isnt the most cost-effective option out there, but one thing that sets it aside from the rest is the incredible integration it offers with other third-party applications. This really opens up the possibilities of what you can do with the platform. Cons: The apps themselves arent always that great. They can be glitchy, and the experience is worse if your internet connection isnt the strongest. The product itself was quite formidable as well, featuring a robust set of tools designed to support patient engagement. The integration and synchronization worked super well, allowing providers and patients to interact more seamlessly. Furthermore, through developments in AI and analytics, we were able to glean meaningful insights and put the data to work for us in ways I did not anticipate. For this, I give it 4.5 stars. The AI capabilities was a nice surprise for me given the interface, which has taken some time to get used to. It takes me less time with trial and error, though. I have to say, however, that we have already seen a marked improvement in the standard of care and patient engagement as a result of the AI tools. Ive had the opportunity to use Athenahealth Patient Engagement Solutions over the past few months and wanted to share my thoughts in a review. Heres how Id rate them when taking into consideration innovation and use of next-gen technology and value for money: Pros: Athenahealths interface is really slick and can be easily customized to match the specific needs of your team. Moreover, its third-party integration capabilities are unparalleled and highly useful. Prices may be slightly on the high side, but you do get a platform that is powerful and useful. Cons: Performance can be quite inconsistent depending on the users internet connection, so this should be taken into consideration. Apps could also benefit from more frequent updates. All in all, my experience with Athenahealth has been pretty positive and Id undoubtedly vouch for it.
