Ive had the opportunity to use Athenahealth Patient Engagement Solutions over the past few months and wanted to share my thoughts in a review. Heres how Id rate them when taking into consideration innovation and use of next-gen technology and value for money: Pros: Athenahealths interface is really slick and can be easily customized to match the specific needs of your team. Moreover, its third-party integration capabilities are unparalleled and highly useful. Prices may be slightly on the high side, but you do get a platform that is powerful and useful. Cons: Performance can be quite inconsistent depending on the users internet connection, so this should be taken into consideration. Apps could also benefit from more frequent updates. All in all, my experience with Athenahealth has been pretty positive and Id undoubtedly vouch for it.

I was mostly impressed with the extensive features their platform provided: patient eligibility checks, communications tools, secure payment portals, and highly-functional analytics support. As for their customer service, I was very pleased: the representatives I spoke with were both friendly and knowledgeable and they were more than willing to address my questions.
