The solar photovoltaic glass is a special glass that is used to generate photovoltaic (PV) power. For photovoltaic applications, crystalline silicon or thin film solar cells are embedded between two glass panes. The ultra-clear solar photovoltaic glass is used for crystalline silicon modules to cover solar photovoltaic cells while super clear float glass is used in thin film solar photovoltaic modules. The photovoltaic power generated is considered green or clean electricity as it is obtained from a renewable source of energy and hence, does not cause any pollution. Note: 1.
