- Each Supercharger kiosk is equipped with a connector that supplies up to 72‒250 kW through a direct current connection to the car battery pack.
- Tesla’s V3 Superchargers are equipped with a 1 MW power cabinet that is capable of offering 250 kW of power to almost four Tesla cars at once. The V3 has a liquid-cooled cable, which allows it to deliver up to 1,000 miles worth of charge per hour.
- Tesla also introduced a new software feature called “On-Route Battery Warmup”, which starts heating a battery to an ideal charging temperature whenever a user approaches a Supercharger station.
